What client was looking for
Our client, a part one one of biggest shipping country in world. Managing 3 port locations in greater Vancouver was facing difficulty in managing their multiple third party recruitment agencies. They were looking for a solution where they can manage all the agencies and all the workers coming though these agencies. Plus, this system need to have analytics to measure performance of individual workers, departments and agencies.
The product we built
Ability toManage Shifts
Management and managers can now ask agencies for a number of temporary workers, agencies than see workers that are available and assign them. This enables facilities to get a transparency trance why someone entered the building and who approved the shift.
The AdminDashboard
We built a admin app that manages everything happening in the facility. Plus, admin dashboard would allows management to pull custom reports for custom period to see the efficiency of their procedures and security.
A Gate HouseEntry Point App
We build a Gatehouse web app, that would be the main entry point ad single source of truth for everyone coming in and out of the building.
Result
Our client was able to move away from managing their third party workers from confusing and ginormous spreadsheet to a custom solution built around their operations. This enabled our client to become more efficient, while shaving off extra work from their manages. Plus, now their facilities are compliment for their clients that are looking into traceability.
